1-Vainglorious (Adjective):अभिमानी:excessively proud of oneself or one’s achievements; overly vain.

Synonyms: egotistic, proud, arrogant, bigheaded

Antonyms: egoless, humble, selfless

Example Sentence: The vainglorious trainer spent more flexing his muscles than he did helping build his client’s.

2. Humbug (Noun) : पाखण्ड : deceptive or false talk or behavior.

Synonyms: hypocrisy, insincerity, dishonesty

Antonyms: original, genuine

Example Sentence: Because the voters were not fooled by the politician’s humbug, they gave their support to his opponent.

3. Sacked (Verb):बर्खास्त : to let go from office, service, or employment

Synonyms: dismissed, fired, discharged

Antonyms: employed, engaged, hired

Example Sentence: He was sacked for computer misuse.

4. Linger (Verb) : दीर्घ काल तक रहना : stay in a place longer than necessary because of a reluctance to leave; to take a long time to leave or disappear

Synonyms: delay, loiter, stroll, stay, remain

Example Sentence: It's impossible to forget such horrific events - they linger (on) in the memory forever.

5. Dodgy (Adjective) : dishonest or unreliable; likely to fail or cause problems

Synonyms: deceitful, dubious, risky

Antonyms: honest, safe

Example Sentence: I don't want to get involved in anything dodgy.

6. Befitting (Adjective) : उचित : appropriate to the occasion

Synonyms: proper, acceptable, satisfactory, correct, decorous

Antonyms: improper, wrong, unfitting, inappropriate

Example Sentence: They offered him a post befitting his seniority and experience.

7. Medley (Noun) : मिश्रण : a varied mixture of people or things

Synonyms: variety, assortment, blend, amalgam

Example Sentence:The menu described the dessert as ‘a medley of exotic fruits’.

8. Intransigence (Noun) : हठ : refusing to change your opinions or behavior

Synonyms: stubbornness, obduracy, obstinacy, persistence

Antonyms: complaint, flexible

Example Sentence: He often appeared angry and frustrated by the intransigence of both sides.

9. Exuberant (Adjective) : full of energy, excitement, and cheerfulness

Synonyms: joyful, effervescent, vivacious, lively

Antonyms: low-spirited, sullen, apathetic, dull

Example Sentence: I heard a noisy bunch of exuberant youngsters.

10. Glum (Adjective) : उदास : looking or feeling dejected; sad

Synonyms: bleak, sad, depressed

Antonyms: cheerful, cheery, bright

Example Sentence: You look glum. What’s up?
