1. PALTRY (ADJECTIVE): meagre

Synonyms: insignificant, worthless

Antonyms: considerable, substantial

Example Sentence:

2. PALATABLE (ADJECTIVE): eatable

Synonyms: tasty, appetizing

Antonyms: unpalatable, insipid

Example Sentence:

3. PERTINACIOUS (ADJECTIVE): unyielding

Synonyms: stubborn, obdurate

Antonyms: irresolute, flexible

Example Sentence:

If you have a pertinacious behaviour, you may face several problems.

4. GRUFF (ADJECTIVE): harsh

Synonyms: rough, throaty

Antonyms: smooth, mellifluous
